Queen
To Set Australia Straight.
With the Australian referendum on whether to become a
republic or not now over, giving a non debatable "No" answer from the Australian
public, her majesty the Queen has taken the opportunity to reinforce her head of state
powers by addressing the public on local Australian television.
Her appearance, for some reason pre-taped
prior to vote, is expected to be sent to air later this week and will show the Queen in
true monarchial colors.
In the short but commanding appearance the Queen is
expected to announce the abolishion of local government and fully reinstate British powers
to pre federation times to esnure such a vote doesn't occur again and potentially be a Yes
vote. "Obviously the Australian people have spoken", says the Queen whose
rule in Britian is nowhere near the power it used to be, "My family and I have
listened and have made a decision to make Australia our new permament home and
rule..."
The Queen and family are expected within Australia
prior to New Years Eve and on arrivial are expected to be placing warrants out for all non
British passport holders (and Irish trouble makers) whilst ceremonially burning the
southern cross flag. PM John Howard has simply replied to the Queens plans with
"O, o, o, well I think...o o...whatever her Majesty says... "
