Holiday Makers...Come Slip Into Sydney!
With the recent oil spill in Sydney, tourism operators have taken the
opportunity to test their preparedness for the Sydney Olympics rush
with a selection of great holiday packages now available.
With low range "Sydney On Sludge" deals all the way through
to "Come Get The Good Oil" promotions, holiday makers are
being offered the works at less than usual high Sydney prices.
Most packages are offering a standard harbour tour, fully featured
with complimentary breathing apparatus, however one newly formed
tour operator, Black Harbour Tours, is offering select groups
of tourists the opportunity to both swim with the seals as well
as have exclusive access to international oil barges to join in the
fun and open a valve.
Spokesperson for this pre-Olympics test run, Mr Syd
Black,
has made comment that if visitor numbers to the slick city meet
the predictions local government has made, an annual oil
spilling long weekend may be added to the Sydney calender of
events on a permanent basis..
