Victorian Police Disappear!

Victorian Police Disappear!

LAW : They've hid out behind trees, they've blocked your view of them near signs, they've even disguised their cars or snuck down a dirt track along they highway to stay out of site, whilst still tracking your speed in readiness to book you. But now the time has now come for law enforcement to take the next step to move forward into the Next Generation...

The Victorian Police force has been rumored to be the first police force anywhere in the world to introduce Klingon cloaking technology, a device used by battleships in Star Trek to make ones vehicle invisible, on to all pursuit cars used on highway patrol to book speeding motorists. The technology will add to their current methods of hiding up trees, driving beat up utility trucks with mountable speed radar guns, and sneaking into the back seat of your car and watching your speedometer, in an effort to book more motorists than ever before for speeding.

Announced today at the annual "Check out how much we made by booking silly fools that speed" counting day, the move is said to be seaking out new ways of making money for an under budgeted force and boldy going where no police force has gone before. "Were changing tactic", said spokesman, Snr Sgt D.O.Nut, "although the Victorian police force has just about mastered the best places to hide, thus giving people the chance to speed thinking we're not about, they still occasionly see us in time to brake slightly. Using this new method of being able to be driving right behind a speeding driver we can ensure we get them going at the highest possible speed and thus enforce a maximum fine!"

The ground breaking introduction of the new technology is expected to be in full
operation by the star date 3040.12 and has the full backing of state premier Jeff Kennett who was beamed up shortly before being able to give his personal comments to Laughsonline.   .
