Windscreen Fog Brings Down Stealth.
WORLD : It has flown by day and flown by night and still remained unseen through either
but by all accounts the days past has been the fall of a 70 million dollar radar invisible
F-117 Stealth bomber north west of the capital of Serbia. So was it shot down or did it
crash? Laughsonline investigative team has stumbled across some revealing facts that may
unvail the true secret!
With rumors flying around that surface to air weaponary was not as disabled as NATO
believed the initial word given to Laughsonline was that the Serbian weaponary division
had actually created a radar invisible missile, that both hid from radar itself as well as
seeking out other radar hiding objects and blowing the backend out of them. This story was
soon dismissed when it was discovered that an anti radar device thats purpose was to seek
other anti radar objects would actually be an anti-anti-radar device, thus nulling the
anti's and actually be visible itself to radar.
Then the real truth was revealed. According to an un-namable source within the US crash
recovery team, the F-117's heating and windsreen demister system had failed.
"Unfortunately, I'm very sorry to admit, the demister failed. The pilot attempted to
rub the quickly fogging windscreen with the sleeve of his shirt however this also failed.
Within minutes the entire windscreen was totally fogged up and the pilot was unable to see
the ground that the quickly approached him. The aircraft crashed and that is that."
When questioned about the normal running of such an item in the Stealth bomber, the
Laughsonline's source made mention that although usually checked before all flights the
radiator didn't seem to topped up prior to the take off on the aircraft that crashed.
"It's like any vehicles demister....you've got to enure that your heater works .
Obviously we missed it on the pre-flight check. You know what it's like when your getting
ready to drop a bomb on someone, the excitement gets to you and you may miss a thing or
two...this time we did."
Although this seems like a one off incident, US manufacturers of the Stealth are taking no
risks, indicating that they may recall all Stealth bombers of that model to replace the
water warming based radiator system with a small electric heater fan. "The
electricity used by such a system would probably disbale the stealth system, making the
aircraft visible to radar, however at least then we can be sure that there will be no more
windscreen fogging and less crashes."
