The History!

LaughsOnline began in 1998 as daily cartoon being sent out on email to a select
group of people by Ballarat (Australia) based cartoonist Andrew Brisbane.

Andrew has not drawn cartoons for many years prior to this but had been roped
into doing a few for a local Ballarat Festival thanks to his wife.  He enjoyed it
that much that he continued drawing and started sending yon mentioned email!

Netconnect Communications Kylie Winnell was on the recipient list of these
emails and saw a great opportunity to give the world a daily dose of humor.
As Andrew was also a computer programmer and web developer Netconnect
approached Andrew to take on the new project....he gladly did so!

In 1999 Andrew Brisbane became the owner of XZAKT Media, who took over
production of the site and began raising the amount of humor and games
offered.

LaughsOnline, whilst still relatively young, is visited by hundreds of people
each and every day.  We hope your visit has been enjoyable enough that we
